When we visited Li-bra-ry Cafe earlier on this year, it only had one store. And now it has two! I guess it’s telling of how popular this cafe has gotten and deservedly so we think!

Featured here is the Sukhumvit 24 Store where it is in a stand alone building with amazing full length windows and exceptionally high ceilings. With both these elements, the cafe feels airy and spacious. The whole environment is rather homely and makes you feel like you’re chilling at a close friend’s house.

 

It’s yet another Japanese cafe but what differentiates it from the rest of the other Japanese cafes is the range of cuisine it provides. From thai to western to fusion even, Li-bra-ry offers an extensive selection for whatever you might be craving.

We had the Stir Fried Minced Pork With Salted Black Olives, Caesar Salad and Library Signature Waffles. All of which were reasonably priced and exceptionally delicious. Among the three, the Stir Fried Minced Pork with Salted Black Olives was a nice surprise since we weren’t expecting much from cafe food. It was well seasoned and had a well-balanced flavour. Definitely recommended if you ever visit!

Directions: 

Sukhumvit 24 Branch : Take the BTS to Phrom Phong station, walk 400m or roughly 5 minutes down into Soi 24 and turn into Soi Metheenivet. Library will be at your right. Alternatively, simply grab a taxi and tell the driver Sukhumvit Soi 24 (yee sip si).

Pra Ram 9 Branch : Take Airport Rail Link to Huamark station and take a free shuttle bus or taxi to The Nine community mall. Library is on Praram 9 Soi 41, just next to The Nine community mall. Alternatively, simply grab a taxi and tell the driver Rama 9 Soi 41 (Rama gao Soi si sip et).
