#1: Marlin Cafe
Address: 117/4-5 Paholyothin Soi 7 Bangkok Thailand
Nearest BTS: Ari
Contact: 02-023-3438
Opening Hours: 430pm – 12mn daily
Decked out by the same interior design company behind the popular spot Casa Lapin, you’d definitely expect a good looking cafe and based on the pictures, Marlin doesn’t disappoint.
Looking at the menu, they seem to be serving a mixture of Japanese and Western food. From what I’m reading off the net, it seems the fresh sashimi, original barbeque pork spareribs and Japanese pasta are what you should be saving your stomach for.

A relatively unknown opening by the same people behind 103+ Factory Cafe in Ari, Farmily is fortunately not a grammatical mistake but one made by combining Family and Farm which is pretty much what it’s about! Serving brunch made up of pancakes and ten eggs toast, the photos look tasty enough and definitely IG worthy!

Where else can you find a cafe located inside a container! Located a little away from the city, it’s a great place to chill and hide away from the crowd just for an afternoon. They’re probably the most IG-worthy cafe of the lot since almost every single photo in their album seems fit for IG. Check out their adorable bear shaped dessert and coffee that will greet you with a smile!

Address: Aree Soi 2 Bangkok, Thailand 10400
Nearest BTS: Ari
Contact: +66 85 357 5315
Opening Hours: Tuesday to Saturday 2pm – 11pm
DISCLAIMER: This is not a cafe really but a food truck! So the food truck trend has finally descended upon Bangkok and based on what I’m seeing on the net, Summer Street’s the prettiest food truck there is! Specialising in bbq seafood, get your tummies filled with giant freshwater prawns and seafood platter. They also serve local beer like Leo and Singha to wash it all down!

#4: Porcupine Cafe

Nearest BTS: Ari
Contact: +66 86 889 9210
Opening Hours: Tuesday to Sunday 11am – 10pm
Probably one of the newest cafe to join the hipster Ari enclave, Porcupine Cafe stands out from the pack with its stark white walls and exposed stones, reminding me of the Swiss Alps even though I’ve never been there before. Still in its soft launch phase, Porcupine serves coffee and some light baked goods, give it awhile before it starts churning out real food!
Let me know how they fare if you manage to check out any of the 5 before I pay them a visit next month! 😀
