We finally got round to visiting the branch of the popular Casa Lapin, named Casa Lapin x49 since it was on Sukhumvit Soi 49. The cafe is a little challenging to find so keep a look out for the wooden sign shown above so you’ll know you’re heading in the right direction.

Casa Lapin x49 is larger than Casa Lapin though the look and feel is largely similar with its industrial chic decor. There’s a few different types of seating options available, daybeds out in the front, communal table in the middle and small foldable tables for one right along the walls.

The menu is adequate but the star of the cafe is definitely the coffee. Casa Lapin x49 provides a variety of coffee, both local and international, and also the cafe’s special blend. If you up for a wait, they also serve drip and French press coffee.

If you’re a coffee junkie, Casa Lapin x49 is definitely a place you should visit.
